KBPS - Kilobits per second A modem's speed is measured by the number of bits it can transfer in a second. Modems rated in kilobits per second are now the standard. Bandwidth is also measured in Mbps (millions of bits or Megabits per second) and Gbps (billions of bits or Gigabits per second), depending on the medium and transmission method. Note: Kb is kilobit, KB is kilobyte.

Keyword - On a search engine, for example, it's the term or phrase you type in order to begin an online search. In HTML, keywords appear in the meta tags for a Web page, where they help search engines readily identify and better index the Web site.
